Oh, Martha Stewart...

I really have a love-hate relationship with Martha Stewart. There is just something about her that really irks me. Not to mention that there is no way humanly possible for her to be that crafty. To borrow the idea from Joss Whedon,  i've decided she's a witch. That having been said, she really does have some phenomenal  ideas, regardless of how she came about them. Take this vase, for example. So simple, yet quite elegant. It's a centerpiece that would work for kid and adult parties alike. Get the tutorial here:

Spooky Rose Vase

She has countless ideas on her website that I would love to utilize, if I had the time (or a yard for that matter-you cant very well have a graveyard in a second floor apartment. But maybe I can borrow my parent's yard... hehehe:)). Here's one for a kid's party:

Fanged and Winged Pumpkins

All you need for the Fanged Pumpkins are some small pumpkins, plastic fangs, and red-topped pins. Carve a hole for the mouth(Martha even gives you a template), insert fangs, and add pins. Voila! To make the Bat Pumpkin, just use the template to cute out your bat wings(or make your own-give your bats some individuality and personality!), and attach the ends with hot glue. Simple, quick, and an easy decoration for most Halloween themes!
